About MELAS – Epidaurus Olive Oil Domain
The MELAS family estate in Lygourio sits next to the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus in Argolida. It has its own organic groves, a two-line olive mill and a bottling plant, and has been exporting since 1992. Lines include organic extra virgin olive oil, PDO Lygourio Asklipiou oil and the Anastasia Bio-Care range of organic olive oil cosmetics.
Known to visitors as 'The Garden of Olive Trees', the estate is open year-round with a grove walk, mill tour, audio-visual presentation and tasting of oils and olives. Visits run Monday to Saturday and should be booked ahead. The shop also sells olive oil chocolates.
