About Periapton Olives
Periapton is run by a third-generation olive growing family in Nea Olynthos, Halkidiki. Their first trees were planted in 1938, and processing facilities were added in 2010. The family uses natural debittering and slow maturation without chemical additives, and states that it follows ISO 22000.
The range covers green, rolled and sun-dried black Chalkidiki olives, Kalamata olives, olive paste, olive sweets and olive oil. Visits are by appointment and include the processing and packing areas, hands-on demonstrations and an olive tasting. Arrange a time in advance to see how table olives are made here.
