About Toleo Halkidiki Olive Oil
Toleo is a family olive grove at Metaggitsi, near Polygyros in Halkidiki. The family produces extra virgin olive oil from the local Halkidiki tree, including the Galani variety, and also runs harvest events and an olive tree sponsorship scheme.
From May to November, Toleo hosts two-hour olive oil tasting seminars in English and German, served with local dishes. There are farm shops in both Metaggitsi and Nea Moudania selling olive oil, olives, olive paste, flavoured oils, honey and olive soap. The Nea Moudania shop is handy for visitors heading towards Kassandra.
